One of my websites had 42 new registrations in a single day this week. 32 didn't verify their email or log in. That's 32 new "users" if you only look at the signup numbers. I'm starting to understand why people love vanity metrics so much 😂

Yeah, and defenders have the harder job. Finding a vulnerability is one thing, getting it patched and deployed across millions of systems is another. Attackers only need to find one that hasn't been updated. That's the bit that worries me more than the numbers.
