We have collaborated with local artist and illustrator Cato Cormier to design a new Winnipeg Jets Pride logo!
The design draws on the diversity of the natural world, reflecting identities within the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and uses historically associated imagery and a vibrant colour palette to connect to the broader history and symbolism of Pride 🏳️🌈

ALT Winnipeg Jets Pride Night graphic with the message: Designed by Cato Cormier, the Winnipeg Jets Pride inspired logo draws on the diversity of the natural world to reflect identities within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Plants, flowers and insects are among the symbols representing transformation, fluidity and renewal, while the use of asymmetry and naturally occurring variation reinforces the diversity that exists within nature. Historically associated imagery and a vibrant colour palette connect to the broader history and symbolism of Pride, together expressing inclusion, authenticity and joy.

Saskatchewan writes a blockade law as B.C. chiefs threaten a 'battleground'
Scott Moe’s throne speech promises a law to keep rail lines and roads open, the same week B.C. chiefs warned of a “battleground” over DRIPA. Alberta’s version shows what such a law is worth.

The unfinished business of our ancestors is that they didn’t conclusively establish that Aboriginals will be Canadians with exactly the same rights, privileges and obligations of every Canadian citizen. No reservations. No Indian Act. No special status.

When I flippantly said, “Fuck it, let’s go to war,” it was because I knew extremist opponents of a reasonable solution saw DRIPA as the only thing holding together a tenuous ceasefire between two belligerents.
These comments are evidence that I was right. They view any democratic mandate that interferes with their grandiose, self-important plans as a literal act of war.
If they want to go to war, we should take them at their word. I stand by that. If they honestly believe they can face down the Canadian Armed Forces, our boys will make short work of it.
If they want to modernize and accept that this province is not owned by an Aboriginal master race, that would probably be better for their long-term survival than going to war with a NATO country.
Either option is fine by me. One comes with fewer fireworks.
It is not a declaration of war.
I’m not sure when both the right and the left decided to start throwing these terms around but it’s irresponsible, dangerous, and not productive in the least.
I watched @TheRealKeean talk about going to war, now I’m seeing Grand Chief Stewart Phillip do the same.
This is legislation, and it must reflect the expectations of voters - that’s how democracy works. British Columbians voted for the BC Conservatives and part of their campaign was to repeal it, and citizens voted for it.
If after an election, you don’t like the result and the policies - you shouldn’t start viewing that as a declaration of war.
It’s democracy in action.
If my members voted for a new Chief, with a different vision, I don’t get to call that an act an act of war - I respect the results and seek to work with the new leader on their path.

BREAKING: Journalists investigating corruption in Ukraine will face 5 years in prison.
Zelensky wants me and my journalist colleagues to stay silent about how he’s stealing your billions.
He’s taking the last thing left - freedom of speech.
We bring you the truth.

WAR: Our leaders have allowed false genocide and mass clandestine grave claims stick, now we’re being threatened with war if the Conservatives repeal a DRIPA, a globalist framework we never should have bound to our laws.
More than just DRIPA needs to be tossed. We need to watch the negotiations that follow closely.

There’s no FIRST NATIONS. They weren’t a nation. There were people that ate grubs and whatever they could find, who moved on once their food supply ran out. No nation. JUST STOP

Serious Question:
We spent $47 Billion last year on First Nations.
If they don't have housing or "safe drinking water"... who is to blame?
Is it a case of not enough money?
Or simply a case of incompetence at best and downright corruption at worse?

ALL THESE LEECHES DO IS DEMAND MORE.
THEY CONTRIBUTE UTTERLY NOTHING POSITIVE ANYMORE
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.
