Wow! What a fun and educational day at the Outdoor Learning Center with OLE 4th graders and their teachers! Our Katy ISD students are so blessed to have this opportunity to learn with these authentic, hands-on activities as part of their science and social studies curriculum!
Mr. Jason Sowders is an AWESOME principal with a huge heart and passion for creating a POSITIVE learning environment for all our OLE LEOPARDS! Happy National Principal’s Month!💙💛

Day 2 of Teacher Appreciation Week:
Teachers are like CRAYONS!
Each one is different, but put them TOGETHER, and they make your RAINBOW! Gather me up some “Crayons” and call me “HAPPY”!
You can take a teacher out of the classroom but you can never take away his/her NATURAL instinct to teach! And remember …the influence of a GREAT TEACHER can never be erased!!!
A fun evening celebrating “Of the Year” recipients! Congratulations to Aucher Lewis, OLE Teacher of the year and Danielle Adams, OLE Rookie Teacher of the Year! And of course, our new principal, Jason Sowders, was in attendance to cheer on his teachers!
Fun OLE Spirit Night at Howdy Ice Cream! I had the strawberry sorbet and it was DELICIOUS! I enjoyed visiting with the kids and taking recommendations on which flavor to order! Thank you to all who came out to support our school! #HOWDYHOMEMADEKATY
