The endless and deliberate blurring of religious 'anti semitism' predjudices and secular Zionism in the western world is both deeply offensive and confusing. A major obstruction to diplomacy. youtu.be/GumWeVdcof4?si=AtFE…

Good succinct summary
🦔Anthropic’s full IPO filing is out, and it plans to list on Nasdaq as ANT. Revenue hit $16.3 billion in the first half of 2026, up from $1.2 billion a year earlier, and the business brought in $3.9 billion more cash than it spent running itself. The $80.7 billion headline loss is almost entirely accounting on its convertible notes, which turn into stock at the IPO. My Take Anthropic grew fast, and a lot of that growth runs on money from the companies selling it chips and cloud capacity. It has raised $141 billion so far, and Google, Amazon and Broadcom have another $77 billion lined up, mostly tied to Anthropic using more of their compute. Even the positive cash flow came partly from paying those suppliers later. Suppliers lending a customer the money to keep buying from them is the same setup Nvidia runs with CoreWeave. And most of the revenue comes from usage instead of long contracts. About 80% is pay-as-you-go, and the filing admits many top customers can cut spending at any time. This half also lined up with companies pushing staff to rack up AI usage, right before corporate budget reviews. (Earlier reporting on the draft put compute commitments at $518 billion or more. The public filing leaves that number blank.) Public buyers barely get a vote. The founders keep 50.1% and a trust picks most of the board. I expect a hot first day and a much harder 2027, once finance teams review their AI budgets and usage growth slows. Hedgie🤗

🦔China’s AI stock bubble already burst. The STAR50, an index of China’s AI and chip companies, fell 40% from its July high in under four months and wiped out about $480 billion. Robot maker Unitree, which retail buyers oversubscribed 8,000 times at its listing, has halved since August. My Take Small investors carried this rally, and a lot of them bought because state-backed funds owned the same companies, so it felt like Beijing had signed off. Those state funds sold into the rally to cool it down while small investors kept buying. I don’t blame them much. When the government’s own money owns a stock, assuming it’s safe is reasonable, and that trust made the losses hurt more. US AI stocks look cheap next to that. The Nasdaq 100 trades around 30 times earnings, and the STAR50 is still near 100 even after the crash. The weak spot here is debt and new stock, with Meta selling $35 billion in shares this week and credit spreads at 17-month highs. If US AI stocks slide, the pain shows up in index funds and 401(k)s, since that’s where most Americans hold this trade. Chinese chipmakers will also end up in a price war at home (one Shanghai fund manager says it’s coming), and cheaper Chinese chips and models make it harder for American labs to cover their compute bills. Believe me that I don't exaggerate when I say this: I am thankful to be alive and hear these words said where Western audiences can hear them. This monologue is as revolutionary and meaningful as Rosa Park' refusal to move to the black people section of a bus, 71 years ago in Montgomery, Alabama. Lubna Speitan seals her place in the chronicles of the struggle of the Palestinian people for freedom and dignity - now followed and supported by billions of people around the world. I waited so long, so eagerly, to hear these transformative words; all of humanity did. EVery schoolboy and schoolgirl in the world need to know this
Watch this. Lubna Speitan, author of the Greens4Palestine motion “Zionism is racism”, spells out the central obscenity of our age – the grotesque inversion whereby the victims of ethnic cleansing, Apartheid and genocide must constantly fend off accusations from their tormentors that it is they who are the racists. “We as Palestinians are being silenced and gaslit and vilified [as we] witness the annihilation, the cold-blooded murder of our families, of our people… our children burnt with phosphorus, having to endure amputations with no anaesthetic, having their limbs torn and shredded, their bodies burnt by phosphorus, being starved to death … And to have to sit here … and try to bury my feelings so I can eloquently and diplomatically shield my anger, my rage, my anguish that every Palestinian is feeling, is an insult.” /1

Abdul Sayed has never supported Islamism or advocated for any kind of violence. But here’s Eli Lake wearing a tshirt of Menachem Begin who led a Zionist militant group that bombed the King David Hotel, killing almost one hundred people.
Does the left understand how ridiculous it looks to claim anti-Sayed Democrats are more loyal to Israel than America, while simultaneously claiming that any inquiry into El-Sayed’s very real links to the Muslim Brotherhood is an unwarranted attack on his patriotism?

Poverty in Israel is a huge issue already -about 21% of the population (2m people) -live below the poverty line. Organized crime is a huge problem, with both major crime syndicates and individuals making Murder Inc look quaint. tabletmag.com/sections/israe…

“It was like this biblical battle where the Palestinian men … went in front of me to protect … me and my rescuers from being attacked again,” Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine told Jake Tapper. Levine was kicked, beaten with clubs and robbed by Israeli settlers while covering Friday’s olive harvest in the occupied West Bank, leaving her with multiple broken bones. Speaking after leaving the hospital, she said Israeli soldiers charged Palestinian farmers as settlers advanced alongside them. She said that unlike her, Palestinian victims endure these attacks daily, with absolutely nowhere safe to go.
“Let me die,” American photojournalist Heidi Levine repeats to journalists Jasper Nathaniel as they try to outrun masked Israeli settlers who attacked her on Friday while she covered the olive harvest in the West Bank village of Abu Falah, near Ramallah. Around 80 settlers attacked Palestinian olive harvesters in the village, AP reported. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated six people injured in two attacks in Abu Falah. Levine, a freelancer for the Washington Post, told the Committee to Protect Journalists that the settlers knocked her down and kicked her for at least 10 minutes, even after she identified herself as an American journalist. They stole her camera, phone and bag. She was eventually taken to a hospital in Ramallah. "The IDF provided cover, with tear gas and machine guns, while the settlers beat" Levine "nearly to death," Nathaniel wrote, adding that soldiers then shot a Palestinian bystander and aimed their guns at and shoved paramedics trying to treat him. AP photos and circulating videos show Israeli soldiers standing over a wounded Palestinian man after they shot him. Andrey X, an activist also at the scene, said a Palestinian man "saved our lives from the settler-terrorists who attacked the olive harvesters and journalists” armed only with a slingshot.

U.S. support from Israeli is entirely a function of oligarchy. A small number of Jewish billionaires who worship psychotic Israeli Jewish supremacy have taken over and distorted our politics. Enough.
A candidate for the U.S. Senate says Israel is not America's friend. I'm Israeli. I grew up in Israel. My family is Israeli. And I can tell you this: Few nations hold America as close to their hearts as Israelis do. Fact: Israelis admire America. 81% of Israelis view the United States favorably - the highest percentage among 36 countries surveyed by Pew in 2026. Who else in the Middle East does? No other U.S. ally can have 200 fighter jets in the sky in 3 hours notice. Modest compared with America's military might, certainly. But backed by something more important: a profound commitment to the United States, regardless of who occupies the White House. Security is real. Capabilities are real. And friendship is real too. This candidate understands nothing of it. He is trying to pick up votes through hate. None of this requires defending Netanyahu. None of it requires endorsing everything Israel has done in recent years. It requires understanding one fact: Israel America's most enduring ally in the Middle East. Criticizing an Israeli government is legitimate. Pretending Israel is America's enemy is something else entirely. Any other notion is just bigotry masquerading as conspiracy theory- or conspiracy theory masquerading as bigotry.

Videos of young Israelis singing "Song for Peace," known as "Shir LeShalom" in Hebrew, at the InDNegev festival in Southern Israel have gone viral. The song was first performed by Lehakat HaNahal, a military musical unit, in 1969 and became an unofficial anthem for Israel's peace movement. Most famously, former prime minister Yitzhak Rabin sang the song minutes before his assassination at a peace rally in 1995. Referencing Rabin's assassination, MK Gilad Kariv of the Democrats Party wrote on X, “Thirty-one years after the three shots in the back, the song of peace still roars.”
