Taking advantage of the warm weather this week with a bat survey. We caught several common pips, a soprano pip, 3 brown long-eared bats & a Natterer's bat. Plus got a lovely display by a few glow worm larvae!

Delighted to find two water shrews whilst mammal trapping at Strawberry Hill last week. Anotger new species to add to the site list. Also found several wood mice and a pygmy shrew.

Still recovering from covid but I've managed to update my travel wall, complete my geeky cross-stitch & make a started playing a solo RPG! ✈️ 🪡 🎲
So Sunday/Monday at WorldCon were attended virtually from hotel room after I tested positive for covid 😔
We did escape the room for some socially distanced fresh air along the Clyde to see tall ship Genlee & drove up to Loch Lomond & Balloch Castle.
