We’re READY! S/O to @BirdvilleISD for being ahead of the game for our athletes!

The UIL approved a mandated 35-second shot clock for basketball starting in 2028-29 school year for 6A and 5A, with other classes to adopt it in following years. 6A and 5A schools would have the option to use it in the 2027-28 school year.

For the first time in program history, Highland Park Basketball enters the season ranked #1 in the state by both GASO & TABC.
An honor earned. A standard to uphold. And a whole season still in front of us.
Time to go to work. 🏀

Right now, the Vikings are winning because they have a video game cheat code in a kicker Brian Flores defense is playing at an all-time level & Kyler Murray is making plays with his legs & 5 or 6 throws a game when does Justin Jefferson get frustrated like aj brown?

Timberwolves being led by 3 dudes Steve Kerr personally rejected is probably the craziest realization.

Tyran Stokes was a walking triple-double in high school and some thought he wouldn't have the same impact at Kansas with the physicality and speed of the college game. With 8 min left, Stokes has 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists against arguably the best team in college hoops. Duke up by 2 points. What a game.
Draymond mentoring yaxel and tyran stokes is gonna be wild #dubnation #tankfortyran
You know it’s college basketball season when Duke fans are on the timeline crying about the officials

Steve Kerr is hilarious. After Golden State’s third game of the season, in which they load managed Curry/Green/Horford/Podz, he gets asked a positively-phrased question about Yaxel’s impact.
Rather than speak highly of him, he throws his rookie under the bus and spends the bulk of his minute long answer critiquing him.
Maybe don’t have all your top players take a night off less than a week into the season and throw said rookie out there with end of bench and two-way players.
Kansas uses Tyran Stokes, the same way John Calipari should’ve used Julius Randle when Randle was at Kentucky

Kerr was asked what he’s most impressed with and he spent most of the answer nitpicking what he bad at😂
No worse coach for a young player to play for.
