@thsottiaux hey, I love Codex Cloud, I think it's underrated, but why is there no way for a thread to create other threads? I want to have an orchestrator thread that spawns and babysits other ones. Tried from both web and desktop app

seems like Codex desktop can do it itself via the Codex CLI, gonna give it a try

apparently the CLI doesn't let Codex select which model to use. Will let Codex desktop control Chrome to create the threads on Codex Cloud from the web.

Idea: use GPT Luna or even Jev to detect @thsottiaux’s Codex reset announcements and expose their status through a static API. Get notified or automatically kick off a big project with Astra to put your remaining quota to work before the reset.
Something great with Astra is that it is aware of the usage quota. So you can basically ask it to keep going with a long plan and tell it to stop when it sees that the reset has been applied. Engine started 🤓

Ladies and gentlemen... start... your... ENGINES. We are almost Tuesday and I promised a reset for Tuesday. Among some other things. See you soon.

I've been using @OpenAI's Codex a lot lately, and I find it amazing (both the model and desktop app). At this point, I think everybody knows that creating a plan is essential when working on larger changes. Here is what I've been using that makes it even better for me 👇

The reason this works so well is that subagents start from a clean context window. They aren't "biased" by the previous chat history, so they can look at the plan with completely fresh eyes.

The benefit is that you catch important flaws early on instead of at code-review time (or later). This results in a better overall solution and a lot less code-review back-and-forth.

Hey twitter! It's been a while. I've been having fun building a new Android app on the side that roasts you based on your phone usage. Anyone interested in beta testing it?

Gave away a bed that I didn't need anymore on @tradera for 1 SEK (less than 0.1 EUR) but now Tradera wants me to pay 2 SEK 🤦‍♂️ Thanks but I'll use another platform next time. I have other things to do than making 2 SEK payments 😂

Today was my last day at @Klarna! It's been both very challenging and rewarding. I was surrounded by some of the best engineers I've ever seen. Now looking forward to starting a new adventure 🚀

Fascinating discussion from 2011 between Apple execs from about App Store rules (native app vs web app and how to block Facebook's apps directory)

That's super exciting, can't wait to play with it

Roleplay lets you practice real-world conversation skills with world characters in the app. Discuss your vacation plans with Lin, or order a coffee from Oscar in Paris. The AI behind this feature is responsive and interactive, meaning no two conversations will be exactly alike.
