Remember Polycarp: "'Thou threatenest that fire which burneth for a season and after a little while is quenched: for thou art ignorant of the fire of the future judgment and eternal punishment, which is reserved for the ungodly. But why delayest thou? Come, do what thou wilt.'

I am “THE ENEMY”
JUST IN: Trump declares anyone who uses the term Artificial Intelligence instead of Super Intelligence is “THE ENEMY!”

If Trump is promising 5k if they win, it is the strongest reason I've ever heard to vote D. I don't know that this will backfire, but if we lived in a serious country it would.
If Republicans win the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2026 Midterm Elections, I’m going to give all adult citizens in the United States of America, $5,000! Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I look forward to signing those checks!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This repeats a promise Trump made in September 2026. The US has approximately 250 million adult citizens so the total cost would be over 1.25 trillion dollars. Congress must approve any such federal spending. nytimes.com/2026/09/10/us/… pbs.org/newshour/polit…

“The possibility that Christians may stand alone in the future – accepted by neither right nor left, a peculiar people indeed – no longer seems far-fetched“
“Decades ago, Stanley Hauerwas memorably remarked that Christians will have done well if, in the centuries to come, they are known as ‘those peculiar people who don’t kill their babies or their old people.’ For years, Hauerwas’s comments have been invoked as a battle cry against secular humanism, against any progressivism that would deny the unique worth of human life.” @johnehrett plough.com/articles/knowing-…

Many people think that the words “Artificial Intelligence” are inaccurate, and very ineloquent, relative to AI, or Artificial Intelligence. A far more elegant and accurate description of this new phenomena would be Superior Intelligence (SI) or, Extreme Intelligence (EI) or, Supreme Intelligence (SI). This is a Poll, and I would appreciate everybody voting! Which is the best name for this ever growing “Revolution?” President DONALD J. TRUMP

In response to his ignorance being exposed @philvischer responds with an implication that his better blames everything on the Jews.
Replying to @contramordor
And it’s being engineered by… Jews?

I caught the computer @grok making an error this morning. We need to develop words to refer to these computer programs in the chat that are distinct from terms that imply being. One should not use “you” to refer to a computer or program.

Literally "Beatings will continue until morale improves"
Q: Family members of US service members are concerned about conditions on the USS Lincoln-- Trump: No they're not. That ship is moving Q: Has the deployment gone on too long? Trump: No. Not nearly long enough

Hall of fame for misleading posts...
Been reading writings of early church fathers from the 2nd to the 5th century this morning. They all believed in a future restoration of Israel. Justin Martyr, Tertullian, Origen, John Chrysostom, Augustine, Cyril of Alexandria, Jerome... the belief that God would fulfill his promises to Israel and restore them as a nation and a people of God once the "fullness of the Gentiles was brought in" was widespread among the early church fathers. This belief began re-emerging in the 1500s as the printing press made it possible for people to read the Bible for themselves after 1000 years of the state church hiding it from them. Christian Zionism, before it was even an official movement, began re-emerging as a belief among Christian populations who actually read their Bibles. The puritans were Zionist. The devout Baptists of the 1600s who separated from a corrupt and worldly Anglican church were Zionist. The anglo saxon protestants who founded America were Zionist. Like it or not, these beliefs are baked into the DNA of America. Read your Bible. It's all right there. It's God's holy word, and it really does hold the answers to your questions.

Modern cakes have been ruined by drenching in sugar syrup. Sweet and overly moist. Bring back "dry" cakes. I blame @nothingbundt
