Our analysis on the New York Times Article: > HYBE/ADOR sent the docs to New York Times and told them to frame Min Hee-jin as the main person behind it. > New York Times refused and instead framed HYBE/ADOR as the ones behind it. > HYBE releases statement denying that the contract is bad claiming it doesn’t violate human rights. > They add however that NY Times refused their request to name Min Hee-jin as the one behind it. New York Times linked an article by Star News that sourced our Copenhagen Studio post claiming ADOR teased NewJeans comeback. In reality ADOR didn’t tease any comeback. In conclusion it seems like a failed media play intended for foreign audience that backfired badly because unlike Korean outlets, New York Times didn’t comply. NY Times seems to be well aware of what is going on.
