I have been seeing a lot of discussions around privacy and prediction markets on CT for a while now and I decided to go all in and learn about one of them. When I was still in my dilemma, I saw an article from @blocmates , opened it and I was hooked by the introduction, so I bookmarked. Over the past few days, I've been seeing lots of comments and input on privacy from top CT accounts I follow like @OxTochi , @banditxbt @binji_x and @Grantblocmates ( who made a comment about privacy being a right) , so it spiker my interest in privacy and I went back to pick up from where I left. Some exerpts from the article that i picked up with me is that : - 》The main foundation of blockchain is privacy 》 With institutional adoption coming in , we are back to the basis ( privacy ) . And for me institutional adoption is the mass adoption we've been waiting for and privacy will play a huge path in that. 》Distinguishing anonymity from privacy even though anonymity is hetched in privacy 》My fear as to what the future of privacy is with AI combing everywhere was also addressed. 》The article also talked about different Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) like Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZK), Ring Signatures/Ring Confidential Transactions, Fully-Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), Multi-Party Computation (MPC). 》It also highlighted projects building privacy applications or using privacy infra like @zama , @nillion's @SuccinctLabs @arcium ( this one caught my interest in particular , will be looking more into them and writing what I find ). Privacy is a concept that should interest us all as believers in the future of decentralization. Big ups to @ollieblocmates ( the writer ) and @Grantblocmates ( founder of @blocmates ).
