Jon Sumrall on 15-yard sideline infraction.
'Head coach was a dumbass. I wanted to run out and make the freaking tackle. I just lost my mind and was ready to go walk out in the field - and for a second probably lost my cool.'
Jon Sumrall isn't ready to name a starting QB going forward.
'It's hard to fully fairly assess either of them because I think the performance around them was not good enough by any position group on offense.'
Sumrall said Monday and Tuesday Vernell Brown III looked 'like the old VB3,' but he aggravated his knee Wednesday, experienced swelling Thursday and was unable to return to form.
'He's frustrated. I'm frustrated for him. We clearly need him back.'
Jon Sumrall said Tramell Jones Jr. is nursing an injury he won't disclose but could require surgery after the season. Played a pivotal role in decision to play Aaron Philo.
Sumrall: 'We're going to get this right. I promise we'll get this right. I'm not freaking OK today. I'm sick over it.'

At least Bailey Stockton showed up for the #Gators offense. Not sure who else has. A wasted defensive effort. Georgia with just 169 yards.
#Gators face biggest halftime deficit against Georgia since the Bulldogs lead 28-3 after the 2Q in in 2022 against Billy Napier's first Florida team.
#Gators end the first half against Georgia trailing 24-0 with 60 yards in penalties, three turnovers only one drive past midfield.
Aaron Philo's throw a touch high but right through Eric Singleton's hands for his second INT. Tack on 15 yards for a penalty for sideline interference. Mistakes piling up quickly for #Gators.
