The Witcher 3 Remastered is out, just waiting until I have enough time to play. Anyways, here's a fan poster I did for one of my favorite quests in the game.
Imagine the Bloody Baron questline but as a novel.
donovan hits this pose in his book art, so me and my group have affectionately coined the move as “hitting the donovan”. hijinks have ensued. this is my contribution

"On the March", illustrated for @ancientwarfare issue 108 (out now!).
A contubernium of Roman soldiers takes a break from the harsh conditions of a march in the East in the first century AD.
Dust caked faces, blistered feet, incredible heat-I really wanted to convey the exhaustion of a forced march through difficult terrain.

This illustration was weirdly personal for me, having trekked through a hostile, burning desert with an unreasonably heavy ruck myself. I tried to channel as much of that misery into the piece as I could and hopefully it came through.

Throwback to this illustration that I did depicting a vexillation of Legio II Augusta participating in the rite of Suovetarilia, during the High Principate.
The legionaries in the painting are wearing a mix of Corbridge and Newstead type Lorica Segmentata, with a few wearing mail and scale armor as well.

Excited to be able to post the latest illustration I did for @ancientwarfare issue 107! Many of you were following me through the entire process and I wanted to show the final piece, a few detail shots and of course, the statue of the man himself, Germanicus.

We cannot consider #AI to be morally neutral. In reality, every technical tool embodies choices and priorities through what it measures, ignores, and optimizes, and how it classifies people and situations. Ethical discernment cannot be limited to asking whether we are using a system for good or bad purposes. It must also examine how that system is designed and what vision of the human person and society is embedded in the data and models that guide it. #MagnificaHumanitas
