I don't pay that much attention to OWCS, and I don't use Twitter any more.
But I do occasionally have Overwatch-flavored thoughts, and I decided to make a Bluesky to share them.
bsky.app/profile/owlstatsnet…
Does @PlayOverwatch have a presence on Bluesky? That's where all the cool kids are going now.
BTW, you can find me at bsky.app/profile/jasonwinter…. That's my general account, though I'm sure I'll post the occasional Overwatch-related goofiness.
This was during my sponsorship by the Shock, so it was probably my fault somehow.

First day it was cool enough to wear the OWL jacket and I get someone saying "nice jacket" to me.
It's like a babe magnet, but for nerds.
The site owlstats.net/ will go offline on November 28. I bought a three-year hosting plan in 2021, so I kept it up this last year in case something crazy happened, but there's no reason to renew.
I actually first tried logging into my old Wordpress-hosted site before I remembered how to access my Bluehost site, and it was amazingly still there, though it hasn't been updated since early 2019. It's free, so it'll probably stay there forever. owlstats.wordpress.com/
Remembering that when Clash was announced, I'd have to figure a way to account for two map types starting with C in my records.
Looks like there's a 30-day grace period if you delete your account and want to come back. So Outlaws shouldn't be available yet.
But Paris/Vegas changed its name over a year ago and I can confirm that my personal account was claimed by someone after I changed (c.2012) so IDK.
I haven't made a spreadsheet for a while, so here's every team's Twitter account numbers: current, peak, peak month, and loss since peak (all in thousands).
Here's a way Outlaws have been "better" than Fuel, although Fuel had more to lose. Shock looking great by that measure.
...which is probably because CDH didn't want just anyone claiming its Twitter handle and doing bad (or maybe hilarious) things with it.
That means that any of you (yes, you!) could claim @Outlaws now and do... well, pretty much anything you want with it.
Then again, nobody's done anything with @ParisEternal yet, so I guess there's not that big of a demand for "defunct OWL team name handles" on Twitter.
