This is the reality. This is the actual data on UK trade post-Brexit. David is not some random guy on X (like me). David is the Professor of Industrial Economics at Nottingham University. This is the data. The actual data. Not some garbage forecast about a fictional earth.

… The reality is UK total (goods & services) exports to EU in 2025 were: · ⬆️ 18.9% on 2015 (pre-referendum) · ⬆️ 3.8% on 2019 (before leaving EU) · ⬆️3.2% on last year. All in real terms (source: ONS trade statistics) …

This is all true. The speed and scale of the change are seismic and unprecedented. And it is not leading to the multicultural utopia that elitist liberal-progressive voices predicted. On the contrary, it is leading to a nation increasingly divided along ethnic, religious and cultural lines. We have to manage that rupture as best we can - and by always retaining our basic humanity. But pretending it isn’t happening serves no-one.
It’s not ‘racist’ to notice that England is undergoing convulsive demographic change. There is no historical precedent for the levels of migration that have been imposed on us – and against our will. The English are disappearing, says Patrick West buff.ly/c2JpUpW

They're taking the 'are your grandparents paedophiles' advert down
The video produced by the DRCC involving grandparents does not represent the views of the Government. It was both inappropriate and demeaning to grandparents and has been removed by DRCC following my officials engagement with them.

Given that immigration maximalists insist immigration is an economic boon, and given that Britain has experienced more immigration than any other European country this century, we must surely have enjoyed spectacular growth in GDP per capita and living standards, right?

People will mock this as small beer politics but predatory behaviour by parking companies has been a major source of frustration and financial cost for millions, and for many years.
🚨 NEW: Andy Burnham has announced changes to car parking fines - Drivers will have a 5-minute grace period to decide whether to park and 10 minutes to leave after a parking session ends - A £20 maximum charge on appeal for minor mistakes, such as entering the wrong number plate or not displaying a permit - Charges will also be cancelled on appeal for breakdowns, medical emergencies or broken ticket machines - The £100 cap on charges will remain - The rules will come into force as soon as possible and operators that break them will lose access to DVLA data

Stephen Kinnock’s claim that there were no boat people because we were in the European Union is a straightforward lie. Illegal immigrants flooded in by lorry, train and cars. They disappeared into towns/cities and couldn’t be properly counted. When advances in technology made these methods of transport much harder to use the illegal migrants took to boats, courtesy of the people smugglers. Since the boats are usually interdicted on arrival the counting is easier. Nothing to do with being in or out of the EU.
Old bird on #bbcqt really got under @SKinnock skin by trolling his traitor father & how he's benefited from the corrupt EU. Fiona Bruce kept trying to calm the panel down when it was only Stephen Kinnock losing it.

This reminds me of a chat I had with a Lib Dem friend shortly after the grooming gangs scandal had risen in salience due to X – lovely guy, but his main concern was Musk, 'disinformation', division. As if people knowing about the horror was worse than the fact that it happened

A reminder that breaching statutory anonymity for victims and alleged victims of sexual offences can land you in jail - and crucially, does not require you to name the person, as here. Just giving enough detail to identify them is a breach

This is very problematic the centrist liberal elite men in politics refuse to acknowledge why Brexit happened, Reform happened why the AFD happened in Germany & why National Rally happened in France. These men are arrogant, detached & stupid. They prefer a James Bond storyline rather than accept what is happening across Europe & they have failed. How ridiculous you are you believe Putin is the real problem in Places like Mansfield, Sunderland or Ashfield.
Russians have been doing this for years. And including in 2016. We have ignored a gigantic elephant in the room for too long. Tories because they did not want full Johnson charlatanism exposed. Farage lot because they have been in bed with Russia for yonks. Labour because of the fantasy of “making Brexit work.” Burnham has done a huge service in letting the truth in to disinfect

The Times story was inspired by a taxi driver who told DWP he was better and didn't need sickness benefit (he showed us the messages) He was told: sorry, you can't sign off. Wait for the reassessment FoI found 1.8m (!) others awaiting reassessment. Av wait: 2yrs. Max: 14 yrs

God forbid but aren't they obliged to notify the DWP of any changes like getting better.
