I love Windows Recall and I'm not afraid to say it
Windows Recall is out now in preview builds, and @zacbowden has tested it extensively in Windows 11 for the past few days.
His first impressions? It's great, actually.

Espresso machine was down at the coffee shop. Why? “That Microsoft outage.” I told them to try restarting it 15 times.
I'm proud to work for a leadership team that listens thoughtfully, adapts, and works to do the right thing.
Today, we’re sharing an update on the Recall (preview) feature for Copilot+ PCs. We're committed to innovation and believe in having big ideas. Equally important is our dedication to listening and adapting based on valuable feedback ensuring that our products, like Windows, not only meet but exceed customer expectations. blogs.windows.com/windowsexp…
One of my favorite things about @DisneyPlus is they enable multi-lingual families like mine to watch content in their languages of choice. Would love for the other streaming services to follow suite and offer a broader range of subtitles and dubbings.
So much opportunity in bringing AI to run on the edge/client…
Research at Microsoft shows it’s possible to make AI models small enough to run on phones or laptops without major compromises to their smarts. The technique could open up new use cases for AI. wired.trib.al/kAycXMr

Here’s what it looks like to have a CPU, GPU, and now 45+ TOPS NPU working together on a Copilot+ PC (Surface Laptop) to deliver unrivaled performance. Here is a demo from my colleague Vivek.

I’m pumped for today’s @Microsoft Copilot+ PC announcements and getting to reveal what my team and I have been working on for the last year and a half: #Recall.
As a personal aside, it’s a fun and different experience to be on parental leave at this time and enjoying the show as a spectator instead working behind the scenes. So proud of how folks are telling the story!
