Jade Starr did a show which featured Cality youtube.com/watch?v=tR0J7SUa… her joyful reaction right at about 21:14ish is exactly what I was after :-) Interesting she talks about black midi too - haven't really brought that up but it was one of the things I was going for too

One reason the settings have such wide ranges is because both ends of the spectrum of things Cality can do - mad amount of noise or slow ambient are both interesting

New version of Cality out. Fixes some bugs around parameters in AUM. If you are having issues in new AUM give this new version a try and let me know if you still have problems

Ok. New version of Cality on the way too. Bugs in that aren’t show stoppers but better fixed. Massive thank you to @j_liljedahl for helping spot them! (& for making AUM :-) )

I ain’t dead (to borrow a phrase) but life got in the way of app making :-(. Hoping to return to it later this year. Got exciting ideas. Meantime new version of Autony out now that works with new AUM & just looking at Cality for the same

Working on my apps required time & energy I just didn’t have left over this year. Hoping to get started again next year starting with my visual looper app. Thank you to everyone who has supported my work this year too....

Great tutorial on ioniarics youtube.com/watch?v=2SZwMlHF… Not sure if the maker Gavinski is on Twitter

Modulating the start point of the loop fairly fast while recording produces some very interesting results but also very glitchy & a fair bit of aliasing. Going to try & think of a way to calm it down a bit

You can see my forthcoming looper in action here. It is coming I promise. It’s been more work than I anticipated but I’m really pleased with the way it is coming together … youtube.com/watch?v=sMnkU8lJ…

Updates of all three apps going out today. Two published already. Next one hopefully soon. Small fixes mostly - saving things that didn’t used to be but have added a midi transpose channel to Autony Still wondering about Mac version of Cality (will be Catalina only though)

You can spot my upcoming looper in this live set I did. Still working on the UI building up to release & only using some of the features here but enjoying making music with it youtu.be/Vwkk2NRC_LM

I wonder what the prevailing tone of these demo videos for review is. I *really* tried to be patient & professional but I’m sure my tone comes over. Would love to see some @Chris_Randall submissions ;-)

Oh we are getting it all today. “Please send a video 0f your app on a physical device…”. (Hope they aren’t reading my snarky subtweeting of them…)

Oh fun & games. The fix is being reviewed by someone who hasn’t come across AUv3’s.

Ok. Fixes are “waiting for review” on the App Store. Hopefully out fairly soon

Slight glitch in Autony & Cality controls. Was related to new dark mode (new since the apps were released). Fix being pushed as I write & should be with you today!
