Cheers to 3k followers👋🏾🎉 I’m an OBGYN specializing in minimally invasive surgery (think fibroids, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain!) Country girl from Alabama. I love traveling + married to the LOML with a 4 legged son. Passions — helping ALL women & reality TV🤪 Let’s chat!
Baby boy has been in daycare for all of 2 weeks and of course he’s already brought something home that is trying to take me OUT.
I have had 5 patients with beautiful locs in my clinic recently and I think this is a sign from God to just finally do it!
I have a heavy surgery week coming up with some really tough cases. Praying God covers me and my patients plus the entire team they encounter at the hospital.
I performed a bilateral oophorectomy (removal of ovaries) in a woman who previously had a hysterectomy for endometriosis. She had new lesions & endometriomas on both ovaries. Its a reminder that a hyst doesn’t always solve the problem & counsel that the endo can always come back!
Hi friends, I finally joined threads. Follow me or put your @ below so I can get my timeline together ☺️ threads.com/@pagingdrsank?ig…
I’m still stuck on that OBGYN arguing with me on instagram about something so silly and misspelling insinuate not once, but TWICE. “Ensenuate” is insane. Lmao.
Tell me how to make this boy sleep longer than 3 hours and without contact with a human? Please and thanks! 🤣😭
We’re throwing my parents a 75th and 70th birthday next month. Why does my mama have 230+ people on the guest list? I said can y’all just renew your vows early so we don’t have to do this all over again in 3 years for your 50th wedding anniversary 🤣
Hi surgery and anesthesia friends, when do you all recommend patients stop low dose naltrexone used for chronic pain prior to surgery?
I had a pre-op appointment for my patient that was having an excision surgery for endo and she said she thought about it and wanted to get a hysterectomy now. She wanted to know if that’s okay. Ummm, yes ma’am. I will change the consent and notify the OR today!
I think this is a great idea.
First day back in the gym since my delivery. 3 months postpartum vs 38 weeks pregnant. Let’s get it!
