🌍 TPAG at GANSID 2026 | Amplifying Patient Voices on the Global Stage 🙏
We are proud to share a glimpse of Ms. Anubha Taneja’s participation as a speaker representing the Thalassemia Patient Advocacy Group (TPAG) at the GANSID 2026 Congress.
During the Patient Engagement Session, she contributed to the global dialogue on expanding access to innovative and curative therapies for Thalasse & Inherited blood disorders, highlighting the importance of patient-driven advocacy, equitable healthcare access, and meaningful patient engagement in policy-making.
Her participation reflects the growing importance of bringing patient experiences to the forefront of healthcare discussions and building a future where every person living with Thalassemia and other inherited blood disorders has access to quality care and treatment opportunities.

On the 9th Anniversary of Thalassemia Patients Advocacy Group (17th Sep) here is a #podcast dedicated to all those teachers who did not discriminate against a #thalassemia student, to all those friends who lifted the doused spirits, to all those family members who supported through thick and thin, to all those #doctors, #nurses and #scientists who did not loose hope, to our parent body Thalassemics India and those NGOs that continue to raise issues related to thalassemia, to all the policy makers who removed the #barriers, to all those strangers who came out for #VoluntaryBloodDonation…and to the whole of human race for not letting #thalassemia win against the basic human instinct of survival!
You are the reason TPAG found the inspiration to be born. To survive. To drive the fight against thalassemia. For better life. For better India. @thalassaemiaTIF @thalindia @PriyaVaswani3
