Cyclone Arnab was not as intense as Phailin. Phalin hit Odisha directly. Made a landfall near Gopalpur. Arnab made a landfall in Andhra Pradesh. However, the situation seems to be worse. What is the reason?

Rest in power is a phrase used for minority groups murdered in persecution, primarily black people. It is not a phrase for white wealthy cishet men.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
"Rest in power" originated in 1980s-2000s graffiti/activist scenes (including Latino examples) and is used more broadly for public figures and deaths beyond primarily Black victims of persecution, including white non-activists.

this guy was talking about how nicobar project will destroy adivasi ppl's homes and livelihood just a few months ago, now he's talking about "saving tata". when you try to please everyone, it ends up being hypocritical and contradictory
Dear Mrs. Sitarama,
1.Which "legal and commercial matter" required Tata Trusts and Tata Sons to be hosted at Amit Shah's residence?
2.When is crony number 1 going to appear in the game and which pieces of Tata is he going to get?
Finally, all India's businesses except 3-4 of your cronies, already hate all of you and don't need any incitement.

SIR PATRICK STEWART (1940-2026)
Before everything else, Patrick was defined by being born and bred in Yorkshire, the proud county in the north of England which he loved to the end. You could hear it in his accented voice and in the stern honesty with which he told you what he thought and felt. Yorkshiremen have no truck with half-truths or avoidance of big issues. He wore his heart on his sleeve, which made him a man to rely on, to admire and in my case, love.
We first met as ambitious young actors with the Royal Shakespeare Company half a century ago but we weren’t in the same productions. My first strong memory was a few years later, meeting him in the street in central London when he told me about an offer to take over a leading part in 'Star Trek'. “But Patrick think of your stage career in the UK. Do you really want to risk—getting lost in Hollywood for years and years?”. Well, he took the risk and thank goodness for us all that he did for not just his devoted Trekkies but film and theatre audiences, who marvelled at his using international celebrity to star in a string of cinema successes ('X-Men' of course) and in great classical plays by Shakespeare, Ibsen, Arthur Miller, Peter Shaffer, Pinter and Beckett at Stratford-upon-Avon, in London’s West End and on Broadway.
America was his adopted home, where he met his adored Sunny who has cared for him through sickness and health, through thick and thin. But he never forsook his origins: and the proudest achievement of the most respected and beloved actor of his generation on either side of the Atlantic, was his appointment as Chancellor of Huddersfield University in Yorkshire.
His farewell performance in 'Avengers: Doomsday' is yet to be seen.

Odisha celebrated a film called 'Daman' 4 years ago.
Daman revived Ollywood industry from its deathbed.
The film was about a Hero doctor who helped the tribals by curing them of their diseases and saving their lives, after being moved by their suffering.
Today it's the same story of another doctor - the tribals celebrate him and speak about his selfless service.
This doctor could have chosen to live a comfortable life in a Tier 1 city, still he chose service.
But this time two things are different - he sides with Odisha tribals who are against Bauxite mining in their area, participating in their protests ; and his religion.
And unfortunately today those are the things that make a difference.

Funny how a couple of Chinese companies withdrawing their endorsement is an example of China's ruthlessness but the US bombing Iranian school children and then preventing their National team from staying in the US during the World Cup isn't.
