Happy August!! 🙌 Dear God, thank You for opening my eyes to see another month. I made it to August, and that alone is a miracle. You’re my safe place, my healer, my strong tower, and my friend, and I’m so grateful for this new month You’ve given me. Your word in Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” God, I’m fully committing everything this month, my goals, my dreams, and everything in between, into Your hands. I’ve been through so many things this year where I didn’t know how I was going to take another step, but I’m not losing my faith in You. No matter what I face this month, I trust that You’ll give me the victory. I stand before You right now leaning not on my own understanding and I trust You with all of my heart. I put this month into Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. -Exodus 14:14

Dear God, thank You for the gift of prayer and for the fact that I can reach Your ears at any moment. Your word in Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” God, I’m calling on You today and asking You to give me a heart that turns to You first before I look for a solution anywhere else. I think about Hannah praying through bitterness, Hezekiah praying from his deathbed, and Daniel praying until You dispatched an angel to get his breakthrough through, and I want that same spirit of prayer. I don’t want to be a prayerless Christian because I know that a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian. Make prayer a habit, a routine, and a lifestyle for me, and Holy Spirit, release a desire within me to pray always. I declare that You will always be the priority in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
