So I deployed 260 smart contracts on Base today and put the whole collection onchain.

Bario Punks are now fully onchain. Every voxel, every trait and all the metadata live directly on Base, not IPFS. Even the 3D viewer’s code lives onchain, right down to the double-click explosion.

Our Punks started as cute pixel art with silly faces. Today, they work, earn stocks and invest. They’ve kept their charm but they’ve simply outgrown their original job description. We suspect they’ll outgrow this one, too.
Punks in finance. It suits us.
I think the biggest upside is often in coins that don’t have an obvious comparison. They’re also the ones that take longer to catch on, because people need time to understand something they haven’t seen before.
For me, that’s part of the job. Keep building, explain where you’re going, and give people a reason to see what you see.
There’s an advantage in figuring something out early. But you need the patience to stick with it while everyone else is still wondering what the hell it is.

Every single person who bought either coin on the Coinbase listing is still holding in a huge loss.
Not a single buyer who bought after your announcement is green. Not even close.
You listed base:0xb200000000000000000000cfbdf64a8706a94a01 and actively PVPed your main runner. base:0xb2000000000000000000004c27f6523082f41d01 was the only real narrative Base had and you killed the momentum by splitting liquidity and attention the second it started getting eyes.
Every time Base gets any attention you somehow find a way to fumble it. Listings used to mean something. Now they’re just an exit for the people who were already in and a trap for anyone new who trusted you.
You make billions a year and still can’t give the people who actually use Base a reason to stay. There’s still sidelined capital sitting there waiting for a reason to buy, but you keep giving them absolute zero.
No one trusts Base right now because of this exact behaviour.
Right now there is 0 reason to ever buy a memecoin listed on Coinbase again. Time and time again it’s proven to be a top signal.
You can still fix it. Or you can keep watching every Base memecoin bleed out the second you touch it.
This isn’t a shot at the bluechip community, I personally bought a little as a hedge thinking base would ensure one of these would do well. Jokes on me. Depending on what happens here it may be the last time I ever buy a base memecoin again.
Market hasn’t been great recently so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. Hardhat stays on. Make Base great again🫡
