A well run, challenging but enjoyable course. Heavily scenario based with lots of opportunities to lead a team and work on those non-technical skills. Would definitely recommend.

We have had a fab couple of days #cpd training with @CSMEN1 mobile skills unit based at #helimed79 this week! We covered newborn ALS, paediatric ALS, seizures and meningitis in paediatrics, trauma and safeguarding issues. Great opportunity, thank you Grace. @Scotambservice

In 2020, thanks to the generosity of the Scottish people, SCAA doubled its operational capacity with the launch of a second base in Aberdeen and our Helimed 79 air ambulance. SCAA now operates 2 EC135 helicopters and 2 Rapid Response Vehicles - ready to respond 365 days a year.

An induction with a difference! Winch Paramedic Ben Jacobs was welcomed with open arms and (simulated) open wounds when he joined the Sumburgh SAR base. With a splash of fake blood the team helped Ben train for his Clinical Competency Check. #teamwork #searchandrescue
