This is nice. Some weekend I'll find time to update Obelisk for v4 support so @ElectrumWallet is usable with this ;)
I get a lot of questions, so here's the latest. libbitcoin-node is functionally complete as a blocks-only node, sufficient for non-mining. It syncs to 900k in < 1 hour on a $350 mini over 2.3Gbps Internet. Work has moved to public query via libbitcoin-server for RPC compat.

Dear Crypto Community & Privacy Advocates, This is an urgent call: My trial begins July 14, and we’re facing a critical shortfall. I need to raise $500K in the next few days and $1.5M within a couple of weeks to sustain our fight - covering escalating legal fees, expert witnesses, and research as the case extends beyond the initial 2-week projection. My team is working nonstop to defend code as free speech, protect software development , and push back against government overreach that threatens us all. If you can help, please donate now - every contribution counts in this battle for our freedoms: freeromanstorm.com This is urgent 🚨 teapawt.org/rstormsf/status/194381… Thank you. 🙏
Dear Software Community, 🚀🔒 It's Roman Storm here. As my trial begins on July 14, we're facing an unexpected hurdle: ⚠️ What started as a planned 2-week trial is now expected to last 3-4 weeks due to complex legal arguments and unforeseen witnesses and evidence. This means higher expenses for expert testimonies, thorough research, and my committed legal team. ⚖️💻 I'm pushing to raise an additional $1.5M as our updated fundraising target to sustain this fight. ⏰💰 Your support truly matters in safeguarding creativity and privacy from undue interference. 💡❤️ I'm truly grateful for all the support and love I've received during this ordeal. Donate now: freeromanstorm.com Please help me.

Welcome XLibre! "This fork was necessary since toxic elements within Xorg projects, moles from BigTech, are boycotting any substantial work on Xorg, in order to destroy the project, to eliminate competition of their own products. Classic embrace, extend, extinguish tactics."

"What's this? No, that can't be right..." "I just sent you crypto, but there's no trace of the transaction?" "Yes sir. Privacy is built in." "You mean... it's actually private? By default?!" “This isn’t surveillance tech sir. It’s DarkFi.”

Embrace tradition
No, I don’t want to replace sudo and ls with untested replacements just because they’re “written in Rust”. No, I don’t want to replace my init system with SystemD which is hugely bloated with features I never wanted. No, I don’t want to replace X11 with a display server which doesn’t work as well (or perform as well) for my needs.

Holy smokes! The FreeDesktop.org team (who runs Xorg) has now BLOCKED the developer of the Xorg fork (XLibre). The same developer who provided over 60% of all commits to Xorg in 2024! Blocked!
FreeDesktop.Org team is going into lockdown, censorship mode. The bug I highlight in the “Xorg Fork” video has been deleted: gitlab.freedesktop.org/xorg/… Here’s the before and after screenshots (with more details in the video).

From the ppl that implemented regulatory compliance. Blown the door to censorship wide open.
sadly, 99% doesn’t realise until it’s too late. if your wallet is in anyway linkable to you, be it through an exchange, NFT, or social media; you. are. a. target. privacy = security. do not be part of the 99%. use privacy tools, use privacy pools.

Jellyfin has been my Slopflix of choice for a couple of years now. Zero complaints, software is great.
If you want to avoid pysop ai ads, I emplore you to set up your own Netflix. Other benefits include: -Unlimited library -$5 for a VPN is way cheaper than Netflix -Streaming at native quality -No data harvesting -Synced watching with friends -LAN streaming without internet connection

My 2nd documentary feature Death Athletic is an intimate portrait and chronicle of a techno-political war challenging how information is created and shared in the digital age. A 7 year document trailing the Federal battles, personal struggles, growing 3D gun community, and illicit criminal case plaguing Cody Wilson's fight for the 1st Amendment freedom to share code online. Code that happens to engineer guns.
