Led by @AlexLavin_C137, written by too many wonderful people to fit in a tweet, our latest is a detailed roadmap for a new merger of scientific computing, scientific simulation, and artificial intelligence.

AI does end our race. Not out of malevolence or oppression AI ends us because the training corpus included so many stories about AI ending our race. Death by 🤖🦜.

Beautiful work 🤩👇
📢Excited to share lab's first preprint and our first Stentor paper!

Shadow brain!
Astrocytes can compute anything neurons can? My latest paper that started as a joke, and I hope did not end up as one.

The latest greatest preprint, with @bradleyvoytek
TLDR: It’s good to oscillate, sometimes.
biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
I am so in love with this tiny life.
One of the most interesting questions about oscillations to me is not about frequency or power. It is simpler. Why are some oscillations synaptically excitatory and other inhibitory?

As far as we’re aware this is the first work to look at homeostasis and oscillations. Were proud to have published in J Neurophys.
We’re hoping it can inspire animal experiments to test the predictions we have made.

Like an amateur, I did not tag the journal. Hi @JNeurophysiol !
