Yesterday’s Man of the Match - Marcus McKernan Great display by him 👏👏👏 Thoughts of Manager Jamie Housley I thought it was a great team performance from the back to front. We played when we had the opportunity too, moved the ball around well and remained difficult to breakdown when out of possession, limiting the number of attempts Thackley had on our goal. A very pleasing display overall and it has certainly shown the fight we have but we know what we have to work on over the coming weeks too. Special mentions go to George Jenkinson again who never stopped and a fantastic debut for new boy Marcus McKernan who covered every blade of grass along with some fine play and takes a well deserved MOTM, really excited to see these two lads progress through the season! Thank you to the travelling support, it doesn’t go unnoticed! UTG.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Joe Austin for his work over the past 2 seasons. Many of the young talented players in the squad have been brought into the squad by him. Joe also played many times in the team, a shining example to the lads of commitment, most notable for me was a cold Tuesday night in Frickley, Joe’s knowledge and pitch craft led the team to victory.
