Apparently, Utah has dropped the idea of using Apple/Google Wallet for digital ID, which would have been seamless, NFC capable, and free to use. Instead, Utah signed up with a company that charges $2/year.
Furthermore, the app sucks.

Similar to banks, insurers, oil companies, corn and dairy farmers, auto mfgs, and nearly every company, landlord and scammer in America during 2020.

What I hate about my #Tesla.
I bought a 2020 Model S because I like a round steering wheel and the vertical screen looks better than horizontal. It is a terrific car in a number of ways, but there are irritations that I doubt will ever be fixed.

Last but not least. The computer is slow. It takes several minutes to boot or reboot. I don't know what components make it so slow, but it can be extremely aggravating. I drove my car away from a wheel change and saw that they installer didn't change the size in the computer..
