Just found out that the ST3 prologue takes place on June 28, 1984, which means the Russians have been in Hawkins since before season 2… and the base has been there since before starcourt… Bonus points for the mac-z gate shaped arch

The ST1 VHS Tape version adds more to the top but takes away from the sides, based on the aspect ratio of the cameras used. For the first three seasons, the VHS tapes will be pretty much the same as the originals. But for seasons 4 and 5, we'll get a lot more footage
