I'm generally posting first over here these days, though I'll admit the whole Twitter Trajectory has rather taken the shine off the socials of any flavour.

Today is one of those glorious Welsh Autumn days with all the trees starting to turn and the golden light of a lower winter sun.
What a day to be out and about on the @TalyllynRailway
We've also seen Tom Rolt for the first time this week on @TalyllynRailway
Also our first trip to Nant following some sterling efforts to clear the line.
Lunch today was at Rhyd Ddu station, we were aiming for Beddgelert but it was tourist rammed, but the next station up is lovely and quiet, big walkers car park with loos, a platform bench with a great view of Snowdon in the dappled sun and a surprise Garratt
Today a last minute decision for TinyAction and myself to take the Boston Lodge Tour.
A fascinating site, interesting history and great tour guides. Definitely recommended even if you aren't the biggest train nut as the local history of the area in context was brilliant.
Also interesting to be up close and personal with the two locomotives from yesterday's adventure...

A day away from the @TalyllynRailway today and instead a day of amazing views and the sounds and smells of a Garratt working hard all the way to Caernarfon and back @festrail

No.3 'Sir Haydn' & No.4 'Edward Thomas' double heading the first train through Quarry Siding this morning - this double header is in memory of long standing TR volunteer Donald Heath who sadly passed away earlier this year.
No.3 was his favourite engine.

Not sure if the barrier wagon was there intentionally to give the crew of the second loco some visibility around the massive bulk of the Garratt maybe?
Or it might just have been being returned anyway so may as well add it to the formation.
@festrail
While the tree being down across the line to Nant is not ideal it does mean you get some interesting movements at Aber on @TalyllynRailway
Dolgoch runs around it's train at the start of Abergnolwyn's long platform while Sir Haydn waits to leave up by the blockpost
Driven through a storm that was like being at sea to get here, but now at our happy place @Talylly
Notified on 26 October of a Change of Terms that I will have been deemed to have accepted if I use the services after the 9th October.
At this point they're not even trying to hide the disdain for law are they?
