Does polling results announced a day before election have the potential to suppress the vote, giving one candidate an advantage. Academic polling has a civic responsibility not to inject itself 24 hours before polls open.
An election-eve poll by the University of New Hampshire shows Democrats Helena Foulkes, Sabina Matos and Jack Reed all opening up significant leads in Rhode Island’s key races. More results & methodology: ⤵️ wpri.com/news/elections/unh-…

Democrats have failed Rhode Island. It's time to allow new leadership to take control to help the future of Rhode Islanders.

Do you work overtime? Do you earn tips? Or are you a Senior citizen on a fixed income?
~
TAG SOMEONE YOU KNOW who is affected by Senator Jack Reed's disgusting votes against everyday Rhode Islanders!
~
In July 2025, the 30-year Washington politician voted against the $6,000 tax relief for our Senior Citizens who desperately need it. He also voted against the restaurant and tourism industry’s no-tax-on-tips for our waitresses, waiters, and barkeeps. Finally, "I've got your back Jack" voted against no tax on overtime that regular union and non-union middle-class Rhode Islanders earn.
~
Let's get people talking, spread awareness, and make sure these voices are heard at the voting booth.
~
He won't and can't defend himself in a debate, and the media is protecting him.
~
Sunday morning, we changed our clocks...
~
Tuesday, Rhode Islanders need to change their Senator!

If Nothing Changes, then Nothing Changes !!!

Your vote matters.
It’s easy to get jaded. To think our problems are too big. To believe the political machine is too powerful to beat.
But staying home gives that machine exactly what it wants.
Rhode Islanders deserve real solutions to real problems—and a governor who gives them reasons to hope, not more reasons to be angry.
We can fix what’s broken. We can make Rhode Island more affordable. We can make government work for the people who pay for it.
But it starts with you.
VOTE. Get everyone you know to vote. Help me beat the machine.

Corey Jones wants to remove the Pledge of Allegiance from Providence schools. One small problem: Rhode Island General Law § 16-22-11 requires it.
Apparently, reading the laws governing public education wasn’t on the School Board orientation agenda. You can’t make this stuff up!

What a crock of cr$p! Who would have thought politics was behind these groups. I really shouldn’t be surprised, but I am.
No more $$$ from me.

Sad truth @Patti48023586. The RI Dem machine callously exploits our most vulnerable communities to fuel a de facto NGO network. Everyday voters on both sides - including rank-and-file Dems - must pay the price.
But @KenBlockRI and @LoughlinRI1 can dismantle it. Vote accordingly.

EXCLUSIVE: University Hockey Captain Killed in Wrong Way Collision With Twice-Deported Mexican Illegal in Sanctuary Connecticut
A beloved member of the University of New Haven community was killed in a head-on collision with a driver who is in the U.S. illegally, federal authorities have confirmed with Border Hawk.
The tragedy unfolded at around 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 16 in North Haven, Connecticut.
Ryan O’Shea, 21, was driving southbound on Interstate 91 when a pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction slammed into his Honda Accord, causing his vehicle to strike two SUVs, Connecticut State Police (CSP) explained in an accident summary.
O’Shea, who was on his way back to campus after playing in a hockey game, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck, who suffered “serious life-threatening injuries,” was identified as 31-year-old Guillermo Carmona-Lopez, a resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut.
“In May 2013, Border Patrol arrested Carmona-Lopez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, after he illegally entered the country. Carmona-Lopez was issued an expedited removal and was removed from the country,” the Department of Homeland Security told us.
“He then illegally reentered the country near the Rio Grande Valley after being removed—a felony—and was once again arrested by Border Patrol in May 2013. Carmona-Lopez was issued a final order of removal on May 30, 2013. He then reentered the country at an unknown time and place.”
It is currently unclear if Carmona-Lopez will face charges in connection with the crash.
A resident of Stony Point, New York, O’Shea served as senior assistant captain of the university’s club hockey team and also chapter president of the Kappa Sigma fraternity.
He was studying criminal justice with a concentration in police science and aspired to work for the New York Police Department.
“Ryan was not only a great leader, but he was a caring friend to anyone around him. He always knew how to light up a room and make people laugh, no matter the time. Ryan’s leadership and the memories he has made will never be forgotten,” Kappa Sigma wrote in an Instagram post memorializing O’Shea.
Ryan’s sisters said he “always found a way to make everything positive.”
“He was always trying to go out of the way to help others and include them in new spaces if they didn’t know anyone,” Kiera O’Shea stated.
Two memorial scholarships have been established in Ryan O’Shea’s name. Contributions can be made here.
We contacted CSP to request more information on this investigation and Carmona-Lopez’s current condition and will provide updates if they become available.

I am demanding a response from the Board of Elections by tomorrow at the latest. There is no point in having campaign finance laws if they can be violated in the final week of an election without any repercussions.
Is the @RIDemParty able to have a nominee or state ‘leader’ that doesn’t lie? Must be following the @TheDemocrats lead. Where is the honesty and transparency?
See @KenBlockRI !

This afternoon, I filed a second campaign finance complaint with the Rhode Island Board of Elections regarding illegal in-kind contributions from the Rhode Island Democratic State Committee to the Helena Foulkes campaign.
The Foulkes campaign accepted $90,000 in "Digital Communications" from the Rhode Island Democratic State Committee, which is well over the $25,000 annual limit a party can spend on advertising for a candidate.
The new total for illegal in-kind contributions across both complaints now exceeds $285,000.
We await the Board of Elections' enforcement of Rhode Island's campaign finance laws, which restrict this type of advertising by political parties.
