To get a product stock qty I use:
$product->getExtensionAttributes()->getStockItem()->getQty()
I haven't checked how performant this is (one stock source). I see that this is the magento way using the class: Magento\InventorySalesAdminUi\Model\GetSalableQuantityDataBySku

I find it particularly fast. But as a Magento developer I'm looking to improve my life always. I'm also a linux user since very long ago and don't know if switching to mac would be kind of hard. If it's really much faster, I think I'd change! Markshshust docker in my linux:
Quick demo that compares how fast loads @Hyva_io admin grids vs Magento Admin Grids (for Catalog » Products) in Backoffice (I've just added the Hyva grid to the catalog_product_index layout). Working on this: github.com/catgento/magento2… (thanks to @VinaiKopp and @willemwigman!)
This #magento extension adds a back to top navigation button. I think it could be implemented in a very different way, but it works fine so far :) github.com/catgento/magento-… (open for recommendations on how to improve the implementation)

Felicidades! Se reconoce bien la traducción española XD
I've just published a very simple module to display a 'pretty' visible block showing the current environment in Backoffice. github.com/catgento/magento-…
