DIGGER
DIGGER is nothing like what you are expecting. It starts one way and becomes something so much more. I went in expecting so little and came out BLOWN AWAY. It’s really that good.
Not everyone will agree but for me, it really is a multi level satire with real truth and a great Tom Cruise performance. #diggermovie

Everyone's favorite #TheLastStarfighter robot duplicate, BETA, gets his own one-shot comic in October from @MadCaveStudios. Finally, we find out what happened to him after the end credits ran.
Don’t miss out! #TheLastStarfighter is now out in comic book stores and online (although it seems like Los Angeles is almost fully sold out already) but you can still get these babies online and through @MadCaveStudios. It’s a great read and wish fulfillment for all!

ALT The Last Starfighter comic issue #1 - cover A, showing the logotype at the top of the cover art, with an illustrated figure of a person in a space suit holding their helmet in front of their torso. In the background, spaceships soar like fighter jets leaving red and blue smoke trails. The faces of more humanoid / alien figures appear in the far background.

"Hardware Wars" is a 1978 short film presented as a fake teaser trailer mocking Star Wars. The 13-minute film hit screens nearly a year and a half after the release of Star Wars and includes toasters, waffle irons & puns galore

Steven Spielberg reacts to the unforgettable scene in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind": "As soon as you saw this, you remember it." 👽🛸
He breaks down the genius of the wide aspect ratio revealing the mysterious broadcast slowly, pulling your eyes from Richard Dreyfuss to the screen: "Did I see what I think I saw?" Then John Williams' music takes over emotionally, connecting the characters as Dreyfuss spots the mountain like structure matching what he built at home.
Spielberg shares how they shot it practically on TV sets in real time, with Dreyfuss timing his reactions perfectly across cuts from Alabama heat to Wyoming. A masterclass in building wonder and suspense that still captivates decades later.
Watch this rare insight from the legend himself.
