Loved getting to share some songs before and after Dr. Jodie Elder spoke tonight at Pub Theology. I could get used to collaborating with a therapist. :-)

A song about Holy Matrimony, and cheap dates, and browsing guitars on reverb.com, and that elderly woman who walks to the memory care facility every afternoon to sit with her husband who can’t remember her name. There’s a joy in limitation. linktr.ee/pauldemer

For some reason I included a line about buying too many guitars in a love song? 🤷‍♂️ Here are all the sweet axes I played while recording it. Just kidding, I didn’t use any of these. 😅 New song “Joy in Limitation” comes out at midnight! 🕛

10 years ago today I played my first concert with Texas Winds Musical Outreach! Since then I've played over 1,500 concerts in local nursing homes and hospitals. This work is deeply meaningful to me, and I've seen it bring peace and smiles to many seniors and patients.

Approaching anniversary numero uno. I’ve heard folks say the first year of marriage is tough, but we’ve shared so much joy. “Life with you is half as hard and twice as good,” Trish. I’ve got a song for the occasion, coming a week from now.

Last night in Nashville. Humbled to sing & share alongside Leslie Jordan, Jeremy Casella, Wild Harbors & Skye Peterson, who are not only excellent songwriters & artists but also kind & encouraging people. Thank you for including me, @TheRabbitRoom & @AndrewPeterson . Such a gift. – at Nashville, TN

Got to see Florida for the first time. Grateful for the churches that flew me out here and encouraged me to keep singing and sharing. Let’s do it again sometime. 💚 – at Tallevast, FL
