A preview of my "Software Factory"
This will check for prs that have merge conflicts and fix them.
But what some people miss is that 2nd line check:
This is a script that first checks if there are merge conflicts.
If there are no merge conflicts then it does nothing, no prompts ran, no tokens spent.
If there are then it runs the prompt in the prompt_file and resolves the merge conflicts.
Then you'll notice the trigger, this will run every 30 minutes resolving merge conflicts if there some.

You should be adding in scripts where you can rather than relying just on skills.
You don't need an agent to use the gh cli to check if a new issue has been created, if it has then call the agent, if it hasn't...save your tokens.
I have an SEO tool called Lookout that's finally in beta testing.
Can't wait to get this live.

A gold price on its own is half an answer.
I built an MCP server for my Bullion API so your agent can pull in the rest: metal prices, central-bank gold, inflation, policy rates and bond yields. Ask one question, get one answer.

Claude Code cloud sessions start from the terminal: claude --cloud "your task".
They run on Anthropic's machines, so they keep going when your laptop is shut. I checked the docs: they count toward your plan's usage limits, with no separate VM charge.

The full write-up, with the command and two gotchas I hit: paulund.co.uk/notebook/ai/di…
One of my Claude Code sessions averaged about 511k tokens per call.
Auto-compaction kept cutting it back to about 85k, and it climbed straight back. That happened six times.
Compaction lowers the cost, but it doesn't fix it. Here's what I changed:

Quick reminder that the free limit reset from last month expires tomorrow at 9am PT! 🙏 If you haven't used yours yet, it's still waiting for you in Settings > Usage (or clau.de/reset)
With software development the main question we used to ask was, can we do this?
Now with AI we can do anything we want.
Now the question isn't can we do something it's should we do something or are we allowed to do something?
In the UK we get tax relief for investing in startup companies it's called SEIS / EIS investments.
But it's very time consuming to decide if a startup is a good investment.
Over the last few weeks I've spent time building an app that will
- Look on these investment platforms
- Find companies that are looking for investment
- Search for data about the company and directors
- Built an algorithm that would take the searched data and figure out a score on if this is a good investment
But the problems I have and why I could never release a product like this are I'm not FCA regulated, I can't create an app that looks like it's giving out investment advice, even if it is data lead.
I also these investment platforms have terms and condition against scraping their data for me own distribution.
This has now put a blocker on the project as I can't do this the way that I want. Technically it's possible but I shouldn't do it.
This is an example of making sure you ask should you do something before building and don't wait until you're a few weeks into development before answering that question.
The US has 8,100 tonnes of gold. But it hasn't been audited since the 50s so do they actually have that much?

I built my first Claude Code mod.
I use the CLI, but missed the desktop app's easy screenshot viewing. /image opens the latest in a zoomable herdr split.
The viewer needs a terminal like Ghostty. If you use Ghostty, it might be useful :)

OpenCode 2.0 is out.
I had a look through the migration guide. Most existing config should carry over, but plugins need porting and the server API has changed.
