I don’t know who they are supposedly quoting, but it sure sounds anti-Tolkien to me. Have they read the source material at all?!
[NEWS] “Marnûkh is a character meant to challenge long-held perceptions of Orcs. He’s such a departure from past depictions that within the production, Marnûkh has picked up the catchy nickname, “the Orc with an arc.” #TheRingsOfPower

🇫🇷 The French Senate has passed the “Rioters Pay” bill, making rioters financially liable for damages during public demonstrations. They can be ordered to pay up to €10,000 ($11,000) for property damage, even if they did not personally commit the vandalism. Liability covers anyone who “knowingly participated” in a group formed to vandalize, or who stayed after two police dispersal warnings. Social media platforms must remove content inciting violence, vandalism, or insurrection within 24 hours of an authority request, or face blocking and delisting. To recover unpaid damages, the state can seize parts of social benefits, including family allowances, housing assistance, supplements, and France’s minimum-income benefit.

I see a lot of people, including the left-wing media and Democrats, running their mouths about Bolsonaro, calling him corrupt and accusing him of money laundering. LOL. Yet none of them want to talk about the actual truth about Lula and the corruption charges he was convicted of. So let’s talk about that. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva was convicted of corruption and money laundering in Operation Car Wash, Brazil’s biggest graft scandal. In the Guarujá triplex case, OAS handed him a renovated beachfront apartment as a hidden bribe worth roughly R$2.2 million, tied to Petrobras contracts. In 2017, Judge Sergio Moro convicted him of passive corruption and money laundering and sentenced him to 9 years and 6 months. The appeals court unanimously upheld the conviction and increased his sentence to over 12 years. He spent 580 days in prison. In the Atibaia ranch case, he was convicted again for renovations worth about R$1 million, paid for by OAS and Odebrecht, at a property he and his family used. His sentence? 12 years and 11 months. Then, in 2021, while he was out of office, the Supreme Court overturned the convictions on procedural grounds. The court ruled that the Curitiba court lacked jurisdiction and that Moro was biased. The cases never went to a new trial on the facts, and the prosecutions ultimately ended because of statute-of-limitations issues. After slithering back into the presidency in 2023, Lula appointed his own personal defense lawyer from those same Car Wash cases, Cristiano Zanin, to the Supreme Court. His own defense lawyer. On the Supreme Court. Ironic, isn’t it? And that same lawyer is the one who granted the 2-hour extension for voting in the 2026 runoff, where Lula magically gained enough votes to win. So the next time you see the media and the left gushing about how wonderful this man is and portraying him as a martyr, LOL, remember the truth. Lula is the actual dictator thug who was convicted on corruption charges. Not Flávio Bolsonaro.

ELEIÇÃO ROUBADA NO BRASIL? 🇧🇷 BRAZIL ELECTION STEAL? 🇺🇸This mathematics professor shows the data that came out of the TSE on election night in Brazil shows patterns of algorithmic shifts that penalized @FlavioBolsonaro as the counts came in. He projects that Flavio should have won by about 65% of the vote.

Former Venezuelan presidential candidate Alejandro Peña Esclusa is right. It is impossible for the right to have won the parliamentary elections 20 days ago so convingly and for Lula to have won yesterday with four million votes. As my friend Alejandro says, this was a coup.

If, by the way, the same situation that just happened in Brazil had happened but with the parties switched -- if Bolsonaro had won last night's election and then a pro-Bolsonaro judge sent the Federal Police to seize Lula's passport and bar him from leaving the country -- every major western media outlet and liberal NGOs would be screaming about the authoritarian attack on Brazil's elections and the destruction of basic freedoms.
One day after Lula was declared the winner of Brazil's elections, his opponent -- Sen. Flavio Bolsonaro -- just had had his passport seized by the Federal Police. Theose police were sent by notorious tyrant Judge Alexandre de Moraes. What a lovely democratic image.

Brazilian journalist Malu Gaspar says all Superior Electoral Court ministers were against the idea of extending the voting in Brazil by 2 hours. Zanin, Lula’s former personal lawyer, appointed by Lula to Supreme Court Justice made that decision anyway

Aqui ainda debruçada sobre papéis, contas, estatísticas, números, fatos. Nada faz o menor sentido. Mapa do primeiro turno majoritariamente azul.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! A defiant Flavio Bolsonaro just walked out and declared THE RESULTS ARE INVALID after Lula STOLE it from him — BOLSONARO IS MOVING TO ANUL THE RESULTS. "It is impossible—it is IMPOSSIBLE—to recognize the election results in the context of how these things happened. We are going to use our legal team; we are going to ask for the annulment of these elections!" "I will never know, in a state where the polling stations were not reopened, how many votes I could have received." "A Supreme Court justice, for the first time in history—Lula's former lawyer—issued a unilateral decree at the request of a former law partner of his, and changed the rules of the game in the middle of the game!" "At 5:01 PM, Justice Zanin—who is not part of the Superior Electoral Court—trampling over the specialized electoral court, made a decision extending voting by two hours. This had never happened in the history of Brazil!" Good. This needs to happen. America is with you, FLAVIO! We all saw the last-minute cheat.

Back in 2008, 53% of Californians voted for the high speed rail project. Today, after 18 years of absolutely deranged delays and cost overruns, 62% support it. California is broken because Californians like it that way.
