Over one year since the ceasefire agreement, more than 1,400 people have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, nearly two million still need shelter, not a single hospital is fully functioning, and 1.4 million face crisis-level hunger.
Accountability cannot be swept under the rubble. The recovery and future of Gaza cannot be separated from a framework grounded in international law, justice, and the rights of victims.
The persistent failure to hold Israel accountable and press Israel to comply with the International Court of Justice’s binding orders continues to fuel the atrocity crimes on a mass scale against Palestinians.

“CJI Chandrachud Used To Seek Government's Pre-Approval Before Collegium Discussed Names For Judicial Appointments”
- A very serious allegations made by former SC judge Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul’s in his forthcoming memoir "Without Fear of Favour"
Former SC judge Justice Kaul stated that , Govt respects judges with spine… but the former Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud was “too deferential to the Government” when it came to appointments. At one time, he sought its “nod” before the Collegium had met and, once, even voiced the Government’s “bizarre” query regarding the caste of a minority-faith judge candidate.
◾Justice Kaul recounts one Collegium meeting where five names had been agreed upon, a sixth was proposed at the last minute. According to Justice Kaul, Collegium members had broadly agreed on five names. On the day of the meeting, Chandrachud proposed a sixth name, which other members resisted. Kaul says he suspected that name had come at the government’s instance, as Chandrachud took him aside during the Collegium process and wondered whether he should telephone the government to ascertain its view. Kaul says he objected and told him that this could not be done in the middle of Collegium deliberations.Ultimately, the five names proceeded and the sixth did not.
◾Justice Kaul's revelations make an old image impossible to forget.
Prime Minister Modi at then, CJI D.Y. Chandrachud's residence for Ganesh Puja, an extraordinary public display of proximity between the head of the Executive and the head of the Judiciary.
At the time, former CJI R.M. Lodha warned that a certain distance must be maintained between the judiciary and executive and said it was the first time in his memory that a PM had visited a sitting CJI's official residence.

For regressive forces like the RSS-BJP solidarity beyond communalism is an incomprehensible concept, hence, they've now resorted once again to the old tactic of circulating doctored videos and manufacturing outrage around it.
A video of mine is being circulated out of context by the Sangh IT Cell as me extending solidarity to regressive forces in Bangladesh, ironically by the most regressive communalists of our own country.
We stand with the oppressed fighting for democracy, human rights and against religious fundamentalism.
You attack us with lies because you are afraid of our movement for voter rights and democracy. You fear that the people of the country know the truth about SIR, Gyanesh Kumar and how you use both to disenfranchise 13 crore people!

I grew up watching Mr. Bean. ❤️
Before the war, whenever my family wanted a happy evening, my mother would make popcorn, and we would all gather around the TV to watch his funny shows. I was just a child, with no worries, enjoying those beautiful family moments.
I never knew his real voice. I had only ever seen him make us laugh.
Today, for the first time, I hear him speak about us. And for the first time, the man who brought so much laughter into my childhood makes me cry instead. 💔
Please listen to him carefully. The face I once associated with laughter is now speaking about our pain. I never imagined I would live to see the day when Mr. Bean would remind me not of the happiness of my childhood, but of the heartbreaking reality of what we have endured.
