This is my newest WordPress plugin and initially I built it for one of own websites: wplia.com/ WPLIA is a self-hosted WordPress plugin that scans the database directly to extract internal & external links, count them, and flag orphan pages.

From the developer's perspective and considering the code structure & quality, I would tend to Polylang rather than WPML.

I am glad to see more and more stories like this. I got started a little later, in 2016, but back then even niche plugins like mine could promote themselves organically. It's getting really hard with "vibe-coded" bloat everywhere and Google Core Updates.

I have been developing Permalink Manager since 2016 and I am still independent. I have had a few acquisition offers over the years, but I turned them all down :)

Just released WPLIA a simple, self-hosted plugin for analyzing internal/external links in #WordPress. At first, I planned to release it as an add-on for Permalink Manager, but turned out to make more sense as stand-alone #SEO plugin. wplia.com/

I am building a new plugin and this time I am going to run the license validation, checkouts, dashboards and etc. using a custom Laravel app.

Not sure if this helps, but if you are not comfortable with SSH and Git, you can use a GUI and push all the changes to the repo using e.g. Sourcetree :)
