Why tf are NYC hotels so expensive right now?
I pulled the price of every manhattan hotel rated 7+ for Wednesday night (oct 14).
227 hotels were available, only 7 come in under $500 after tax.

You know what? I want to turn the Uneed Residency into a permanent coliving for indie hackers.
A big place in the French 🇫🇷 countryside where solo founders from all over the world can come for a few days, weeks, or months, build their products and live together.
Every edition so far got hundreds of applications for 15 spots, so I’m pretty confident the demand is there.

This would be for a completely different crowd: people who can make thousands of dollars a month on the internet, and who’d rather work somewhere calm, with all the comfort they need, than in a big city. I’d love to build it with you 🔥
