Decision models like Jev are all the rage - they are super fast, dirt cheap, and - best of all - deterministic.
What if... you could use Jev (and other System One models) using Apple Foundation Models framework?

Paired with Structured Concurrency and Async Algorithms (debounce, map), it replaces dozens or hundreds of lines of imperative code:

Combining AsyncSequence with Async Algorithms (like debounce and map) can save a surprising amount of boilerplate. Featured in Not only Swift #106:

I wish every coding agent read this line from @sarunw:
"You don't need to add glassEffect() or change the existing code to see the difference."
Sarun compared native SwiftUI controls on iOS 17.5 and iOS 26 side-by-side. Standard controls pick up the new look automatically!

I think this works great for technical posts, though opinion pieces and stories need a different style:

Since 1975, adults hosting friends at home has plummeted by ~70%. Screens, packed schedules, and the fear of awkwardness are fueling the "great disinvitation".

Gemini 4 Argon is live in Antigravity for paid Pro subscribers. As part of Pro, you get a separate weekly quota so it doesn’t eat up your Flash quota. Excited to see Antigravity push the limits of our best model yet. Love to see what you build!

@hishnash and @natpanferova tried turning their books and articles into agent skills, but coding agents didn't pay enough attention to static skills.
So they built SwiftFairy: a local macOS static code analyser with an MCP server for your coding agents!

I've been experimenting with MCP servers for coding agents a lot lately. You can read more about how SwiftFairy fits into that in Not only Swift #106:

PSA to community, Gemini CLI should 💯 not be used for benchmarks at this point. I speak with some authority on the matter 😅
Testing Gemini Argon 4 on real work with Antigravity CLI, not Gemini CLI, changed the score dramatically.
Argon went from "good" to a frontier model, landing very close to Opus 5.5 (max). I ran the benchmark three times to confirm the results.
It hadn't worked for me before, and I didn't expect the harness to matter so much. The lower cost comes from using fewer tokens and more cache hits.
Thanks for pushing me in the comments! 🙏
