Wow
So @TylerShultz_ as a Theranos whistleblower. And he wrote the piece you need to read about ‘You Can See Everything.’ Elizabeth Holmes is still lying, he says. And the filmmakers, while creating a great piece of art, fall short on looking outside the walls of her apartment to document that. One key detail: "My wife had to squeeze my arm to prevent me from jumping out of my seat in the theater and screaming, THAT IS NOT THE DEVICE." Again, that device Holmes showed? It's not the one we're talking about!!!! Having seen the film, I basically agree with Tyler's take. statnews.com/2026/10/19/eliz…

Four Gemini 4 Argon agents, one shared Minecraft world, one goal: defeat the Ender Dragon. 27 hours and 2,783 self-written programs later, the dragon fell.

BREAKING NEWS🚨: Google has submitted its FIRST TPUv7 FP8 vLLM results to our Agentic Inference Benchmark and has demonstrated 1.67x better perf per dollar than even GB300 NVL72 FP4. 🚀 It is amazing to see Google go full steam ahead with externalizing the power of TPUs outside of Google.👇️ (1/4)🧵

Today we are rolling out Gemini 4 Argon globally in the Gemini API, to Pro + Ultra in Gemini App, and Ultra subs in Antigravity! Argon is a huge step forward for Gemini, and a labor of love. This model has been battle tested by over 100,000 people at Google over the last month, with so much new innovation, ambition, and hard work baked into this release. The team has been heads down over the last 6 months working to make this possible across the stack (research, infra, safety, eng, etc). We rolled the model out to cyber defenders as part of our fairwind program and early access customers over the last 2 weeks, it has been amazing to see and talk to folks who are now using this model daily. Seeing the models writing capability, raw knowledge and persistence for coding, paired with new features like 1M token output when the model needs to work more has gotten me even more excited about our path ahead. This is just the start of the Gemini 4 era. As you saw with 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, and 3.8 Flash, our iteration speed with Gemini is fast : ) Now with Gemini 4 Argon to work from, I am cannot wait to see the progress continue, and most importantly see what this new model enables for the world. This is such a special moment in the arc of technology, as millions of people everyday tackle problems they could never have thought possible before. Gemini 4 Argon was built to help you tackle the hardest problems. I have personally felt this spark with Argon and hope you do too. Onwards!!

Today we’re introducing a new 3.8 Flash model, our 3rd Flash release in just 6 wks. It delivers significant leaps from 3.7 Flash across software engineering, agentic tasks, and multi-step reasoning. On DeepSWE v1.1, it outperforms most larger frontier models in autonomously solving complex engineering problems end to end, at a fraction of the cost. 1B+ people are now using @Geminiapp every month to spark new ideas and get things done. It’s our fastest growing product ever, and our 14th to hit the 1B-user mark. Kudos to @JoshWoodward & the entire Gemini team, and thank you to everyone who has been on this journey with us - much more to come!

A strong and secure open ecosystem is important for the world to benefit from AI. We’ve always supported and contributed heavily to open source and science from Jax to Transformers to AlphaFold to Gemma open models which have now been downloaded 300M+ times. And the standards framework we’ve proposed supports responsible deployment of both open and proprietary models.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter. AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country. Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty. The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models. images.nvidia.com/pdf/Open-W…

Introducing waitingfor.ai, the chillest tropical spot to wait for your coding agents 🌴 🥥 I kept finding myself getting distracted during those unpredictable stretches while Claude or Codex was working, so I built a little place to spend that time instead...

pcottle It’s a mix between a meditation zone and a video game; there’s enough to explore to keep you engaged, but no scores or goals or pressure. Just hang out for a bit, stay present, and head back to your code whenever your agent is ready.
