I didn’t have to buy tickets from myself 😂 Seats to a game are perishable. I didn’t want them empty. We would go to schools , churches, community centers, hospitals etc and offer to send a bus and give them free tickets. Unfortunately, they didn’t always show up. if they didn’t , we would find someone else the next game 6th man is real. Plus it’s the least expensive marketing there is. Mavs games are a blast. You experience it, you want to come back.

The NFL’s first-ever game in Paris was a huge success. There’s been a lot of speculation about when the Saints will return to the City of Light, but I’m hearing their next International Series game will likely be in Italy, either Milan (likely) or Rome. I’d guess 2028 at the earliest.

Nasty: Bears QB Caleb Williams was fined ~$11K by the NFL for wearing Caddix cleats against the Falcons, violating the Uniform and Equipment Rules. These cleats are specially designed with technology to reduce non-contact knee and ankle injuries. The NFL needs to do better 🤦‍♂️

Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.
