This time last week Friday, I was on stage at @blockfestafrica talking about AI, blockchain, and building trust in this new age of intelligence.
I spend a lot of time building with AI, and it keeps showing me how much more is possible. But many people still don’t know where to start or what they can trust.
Those of us figuring it out have a duty to bring more Africans along: show what works, be honest about what doesn’t, and help people use these tools to build something of their own.
We have too much talent here to leave people out of the next digital economy.
gm & happy new week frens, gon be your best one yet.
been seeing good signals bout @squeekchain btw, will check it out soon. you should too.

writing lost a lot of its appeal to me when I realized humanity has probably already topped in literacy
Lmaoo, finally got to check this out.
At this point, everyone is gonna have a passphrase they use over the phone.
I can't help but think of how dangerous Claude & Dessa would be together.
Nonetheless, Dessa sure sounds like a real human, however, you could notice she still sounds like a 'dumb' one (she probably hasn't been trained on much data yet).
Best believe it gets smarter from here tho. Wild times we're in.
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

Been learning about ZK-SNARKs lately! The core ideas behind modern hash-based schemes are surprisingly accessible & elegant 🧙♂️
Partly to teach myself, I wrote a post explaining them from scratch for people like me without a deep math background:

Re-echoing:
Application >>>> infrastructure
First PumpFun, now fomo.
impressive execution from both teams, but a very dark day for bridges out there.
it just proves the point again:
if you're building the frontend that owns the user, why would you keep relying on external providers that drag down both your performance and your margins? at some point you just verticalize the entire stack.
applications >>>> infrastructure.
Btw, whoever introduced pre-signed txns, lock time, and expiry height features on Zcash needs to win a Nobel prize award.
Good tek @zooko @ElectricCoinCo
