Never would I have guessed that the dumbest person I’d see the day before mid terms would be non political but here we are. Strange times.

Bill Murray mocks and makes fun of Trump lacky on live tv. He proves how evil these folks really are. They're almost not human.

A Vortex commission that turned out not too shabby. Monolith and Fathom I added gratis.

It’s November: time for everyone to try and force through one last project to make their performance reviews look good and then act surprised when I can’t magically quadruple my staff to support them all at once.

In all fairness, coming from a law enforcement family I can tell you if you know a large group of people who are regularly at the range, you probably know a person or three who has shot themselves there, law of averages.

Middle management is constantly putting out fires because you don’t have the resources to sustain normal functioning and you know if any one thing fucks up too badly they’ll replace you rather than reevaluate.
I need people understand that understaffing isn't a bug of where you work, or your manager being a dick, but a feature of a system constantly trying to minimize its biggest cost (labor). Every place I've ever worked it's presented as a perpetually temporary problem. It isn't.

It’s nothing intellectually surprising, but trying to figure out how to temporarily care for an ill relative, work enough hours to not get jammed up at work AND get time with my wife and daughter really underlines how exhausting life with a minimal social safety net can be.

Going to have to discover the guys work simply because he looks like such a cool MFer. Probably sips a martini as he draws.
Happy birthday to "Gun Gallon," "Martin Mystère," and "Tex Willer" artist, international sensation, Claudio Villa.

Stop what you’re doing and watch this if you haven’t heard about it before.
You're Next (2011) When writing the screenplay, Simon Barrett wanted the killers to evoke a primitive, unsettling energy. He deliberately chose masks portraying animals rooted in ancient, pagan folklore and old fairy tales.

“Non action movie guy buddy cop teams” was a huge subgenre of the 80s and Running Scared is by far the best example. Gets the humor and crime film mix exactly right.
That's not even a real gun, it's a stick covered in electrical tape.

Full co-sign on the list and the concept of bummer endings in general.
Your Dearest Darkest Friend's @TedRaimi on what horror he revisits on Halloween: “The ones I watch every year are ones where the hero in the story fails miserably at the end." The full list: bit.ly/4iojnA4

I cannot emphasize enough, have a fearless discussion with your family about what they might want if you’re gone. And if you aren’t comfortable with that, the answer is probably “nothing”.

There have been a couple of swipes at the potential inherent in the idea of Emil’s intelligence as a spy and how that could play against Bruce’s mind but still plenty of fertile territory there for a writer to develop
Abomination is a good mix of a villain that Hulk both pities and hates with a passion, I'm sad that no new Hulk writers seem to be that interested in expanding on their antagonistic relationship after he finally came back to life half a decade ago.

It's becoming nightmarish... for the Finns. Happy Halloween from the Embassy of Finland! 🎃

Biggest “terrible premise pulled off beyond any sane expectation” of the last 25 years

To this day I still believe Bucky should've stayed dead. But I can't deny Brubaker told a good story in bringing him back to life. And Epting, of course, has always been the man.

I’ve been going back and forth in my head about whether this is appropriate, all things considered. But I’ve always enjoyed Patrick Stewart in Safe House, as a man with early stage Alzheimer’s and (perhaps) a secret. Fun little cable indie that he elevates with his approach.

"SASQUATCH IS SOMETHING I HAVEN'T SEEN BEFORE" is one of the best lines any writer has ever written, any voice actor has ever recorded, and any cartoon has ever delivered to the cartoon-watching public
