Very shrewd day from Jenrick. Packed the pet issues of half of RW wonksville (good ones) into his bulk policy announcement. Loads of positive commentary on the general because they’ve been complimented on the specific . Now he’s RTing them all to complete the love bomb. Very shrewd indeed.

James Heale & Michael Simmons joined me on Coffee House Shots to discuss the Budget. More importantly, they disagree over the news that John Healey will drink water: @JAHeale says it isn't on message, while @Simmons__ advocates for the 'Burnham Buzzball' spectator.com/podcast/burnha…

... So the immigrant couple are likely to be considerably a smaller net recipients than a like for like non-immigrant family. "Net contributor" isn't a useful benchmark in a system which has a substantial redistributive component.

Who's this God Squad nonsense for is it the 5% of the population who attend church? And this isn't limited to these fascist little England cranks you've had the Tories, Reform and Blue Labour pushing this yank evangelical-style message.
Britain is still a Christian country, and a Restore Britain Government will ensure it stays that way.

Can’t even begin to imagine the reasoning here, but obviously quite funny that this observation only comes after the Lula & Student List wins yesterday, and not any of the internationalized right wing victories of the past year
Earnest take: I think it’s probably not healthy for the practice of democratic self-government that so many people have developed strong rooting interests in elections in countries they don’t live in.

"Donald Trump was an active participant in Jeffrey Epstein’s sexual abuse of young women during the mid-to-late 1990s," says new House Judiciary report. Report has new allegation that Trump raped a 24-year-old + then promised her a visa & NYU admission, demanding she stay quiet.
