David is my Old Testament hero.
His life was completely full. He's shepherd, poet, warrior, fugitive, friend, king, adulterer, murderer, grieving father, worshipper and repentant sinner.

Take a minute to listen to Bill Coore talk about the new Pinehurst No. 11.
He is 80 years old. Still walks the properties to find the routing. He finds it in the dirt.
The golf course opens in 2027. Looks so different from the rest at Pinehurst.

Remember, no matter what happens on Friday, texas fans are living in a world where it's quite likely that A&M, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, SMU, and UNT are in the playoff.
And they're not.

Oklahoma fans, I’m wearing that one. To get right in that spot on the road is a massive testament to Brent Venables.

Here’s something I had never seen at a golf course before yesterday:
At Dutchman’s Pipe, caddies can keep stats for the players they loop for. I guess the staff is gathering the data in order to help guide player improvement? I could also see that data being useful when contemplating future course changes.
I have seen generic golf stat-tracking sheets before, of course, but nothing bespoke like this, in the style of a golf course scorecard. The PGA Tour benchmarks are a nice bit of perspective for any 10-handicapper who complains about hitting a wedge to 20 feet…
