THIS. IS. ABSOLUTELY. TRUE. It’s meant honestly for all of us in PxP. Being a pro sportscaster includes dressing the part. It doesn’t mean suit and tie in all cases (although I have my strongly held opinions on proper attire for hockey broadcasting). At the very least wear some well tailored dress pants (or khakis) and a button down or nice polo shirt. If you’re braving the elements, make sure your outerwear is warm but presentable. #lovesportscasting #inthebooth

If you’re choosing to wear the same clothing in the booth to broadcast a game that you would wear to play video games in your bedroom (ie slippers, athletic shorts, a backwards cap), you are doing it so completely wrong. @STAAtalent #InTheBooth

Gotta be honest-this was not the moment for Joe Davis to bring this up. If you’re on a national broadcast, neutrality is a must. He didn’t say anything during Game 1 on a Junior Caminero check swing that many thought should’ve gone the other way. Then he chooses this moment in Game 2 to bring it up. If a lot of Brewers fans felt upset by this, it’s understandable whether or not that was Joe Davis’ intent. Perception is everything. #lovesportscasting #inthebooth
