The unbeaten streak came to an end but what the “best the traffic” crew missed was the Union fight that was there to the end and nearly found a way through in a 2-1 loss. #DOOP

Richter: "We have to take these games and get better from them. What we will continue to do is the way we pushed... It's tough to play against good teams."
Richter is live in the post-match press conference: "We didn't play our best tonight. I love that our guys continue to push... Overall, not our best performance, but still the right attitude."
FT - WIDE! Turner saves from Anello, and Frankie’s last second shot goes wide. The Union fight back late but it’s not enough. The final whistle blows, and the Revs take this one 2-1 in Chester.
90+11’ - GOAL UNION! They’re likely out of time here, but it’s a consolation at minimum. Wagner collides with Feingold and the ball hits the corner flag and stays in. He crosses to Pierre who heads in! Goal to Neil. [1-2]
Atlanta - Chicago is final, with Chicago winning 3-2. Puts a pretty heavy dent in the Union's hopes for the 4th seed. Union will be unable to clinch playoffs tonight
90+9’ - Polster shoots off the bar after NE toy with the Union in their own era. Ryan Richter looking down the barrel of his first MLS loss as interim head coach. [0-2]
90+7’ - 5 minutes left but Union running out of time here. Quinn is struggling to get a cross in. Pierre hanging around the box. [0-2]
89’ - Penalty for NE. After review, Gil is in his own half and is clearly on. Pierre gives away the penalty. Will need Blake heroics to keep the 15-match unbeaten streak alive. [0-1]
87’ - OFFSIDE! Gil runs in behind the back line and is cleaned out by Pierre. It looks to be a pen, but the flag goes up for offside! VAR review ongoing though… [0-1]
86’ - SAVED! Quinn makes a full field run and crosses. He finds Jakupovic, but his shot is blocked by Kohler and Turner collects! Could’ve been the chance. [0-1]
82’ - Richter makes another attacking change with Jakupovic on for Harriel. Richter is known to be Uber-aggressive at home when trailing, let’s see if it pays off again here. [0-1]
79’ - Medical staff coming on yet AGAIN after Pierre and Wynder collide at high speed. Both shaken up. We may be only half way through this second half. [0-1]
78’ - Union muster a shot on target. A long Lukic switch is headed down to Iloski who flicks it straight at Turner. Better, but not enough for a breakthrough yet. [0-1]
75’ - Gazdag comes out for Raines and is booed by an angry Union crowd. Plenty of time in this one, with a lengthy stoppage time soon to come [0-1]
