🇺🇾Uruguay should definitely benefit.
It's an amazing country. Have done business in Uruguay for many years and never had any issues.
Their judicial system is functional too.
Banking system world class and never any issues moving money in or out of Uruguay.
It's a full democracy (the only one in South America) and it's investment grade.
It always ranks high in Transparency International's Corruption Index (Argentina for example is always one of the most corrupt countries).
Look at the Presidency. Power passed from Center right to the left and the change in government didn't disrupt markets like you see in Brazil or Argentina.
Owned a house in Punta del Este for many years and it was great. Made extremely high ROI renting it out with luxury short-term rentals.
When I sold my property in an unsolicited offer from a guy from Europe, it was very smooth.
Also bought and sold several plots of land. Excellent country.
Uruguay and Punta del Este real estate is the big winner.

Bad news for freedom and for Europe:
The 🇪🇺 , Andorra 🇦🇩 , and San Marino 🇸🇲 signed a landmark Association Agreement in Brussels on October 19, 2026.
The deal integrates these nations into the EU internal market with access comparable to the European Economic Area (EEA). 😮💨
Luckily this deal requires a binding national referendum in Andorra 🇦🇩 before final entry into force.
