DSA hates Filipinos and loves symbols of genocide against them

Please read this guys... My country is in deep trouble and we could really use the help and support from everyone!
We're already not in a good stand with our government — and it would really help us if you take the time to have some awareness over the Philippines
PLEASE READ‼️
On November 16th Trump will be visiting the Philippines to finally sign Pax Silica. This is a data center that'll takeover 1,2620 hectares. That is a size of 38 mall of asias. It'll be built over agricultural and indigenous lands.

thank you for voting, but i hope you guys will speak out hard against Pax Silica since the US President is the big signature that will allow indigenous land to be used for data centers. the global south suffers the worst when it comes to the effects of climate change!

The concept of "You were born a boy and thus were spoiled" is just the same "male socialization" gimmick TERFs push disguised as "woke". Get a grip. Most trans women never experienced what "being a boy" is like. Also not every girl needs to learn to do makeup. Misogynistic idea.

guy is making a completely reasonable geopolitical analysis and you're coming at him with sinophobia charges because he dares to acknowledge China's aggression towards his country

putting aside the failures of IP's internal logic, the idea that any one person can "own" a work of culture like a text, which can only emerge from its own culture and can only have meaning through recognizing how it references said culture is silly. you cannot "own" culture

One last Picard clip, from “Tapestry.” Gets me every single time.
“He learned to play it safe. And he never, ever got noticed by anyone.”
My favorite performance of Patrick Stewart was in the TNG episode "Tapestry".
There are some days I look back to this episode for a reminder of overcoming difficulties and harsh truths.
I used to beat myself up over bad choices I had made and bad people I associated with. Led me into to conflicts, ruination, and at worst: homelessness.
But those were the things that made me into who I was. A lot of people just give up. They might lose their mind or spirit along the way. But you can't ever give those up -they're all you really have.
That almost sounds like it could be a cope, but in many cases, that's just how it goes. You have to live to know.
please please help!! even just a little bit would help hala and her mother greatly
Please, I urgently need $150 to buy my mother's heart medication, as her supply is almost gone. Without her treatment, her health could deteriorate and put her at risk of a sudden heart attack. 💔
Please don't leave us alone in this difficult time.

TRUMP, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE!
The Philippines must not become a platform for imperialist interests! We cannot allow our country to be used to legitimize the violence, aggression, and oppressive policies of the US!
DOWN WITH IMPERIALISM AND FASCISM!

“I tried. I tried so hard.”
This, to me, is the line that makes Picard. His coolheadedness, his gravitas, his wit. Behind all of it is a man struggling to live up to his own ideals. Such a deeply human moment.

One of my favorite line deliveries. Completely understated but it's hard to imagine anyone else making it hit like this.

The sounds Avery Brooks can make are astounding. Whenever you think you have seen all his tricks he finds yet another way to enunciate every syllable of a common word
