Might have watched my favorite player get booed off the field in his last AB for the team tough pill to swallow.

purposely inflating the market after knowing you’ve been found guilty is exactly why that club is a disgrace to competition itself
Manchester City were first informed that they had been found guilty of more than 100 breaches of the Premier League's financial rules in the summer.
Sources told ESPN club chiefs were initially made aware of the findings of the independent panel in July. It was followed by an aggressive approach in the summer transfer window, during which seven senior signings arrived at the Etihad Stadium at a cost of more than £450 million…

The early two-way contenders are starting to separate.
Alabama, Notre Dame, and Ohio State all sit firmly in the “stronger on both sides” quadrant through Week 3.
And then there’s that Mississippi State offense. 👀
25% preseason / 75% observed blend.

Understanding that 2026 isn't 2025, it's important to get a bit of perspective on which teams were / were not meaningful competition for top teams.
FEI rankings for each from 2025:
East Carolina (played Bama) - 55th
Boise State (played Oregon) - 63rd
Western Michigan (played Michigan) - 71st
Texas State (played Texas) - 82nd
Fresno State (played USC) - 85th
Stanford (played Miami) - 88th
Marshall (played Penn State) - 93rd
Oregon State (played Houston) - 118th
Ball State (played Ohio State) - 132nd
Alabama thumping East Carolina is the most impressive thing no one is talking about. They had an SEC caliber front last year and may again this year.
Oregon struggling with Boise State should be just as alarming as Michigan with Western Michigan (moreso given Oregon's ranking).
Miami is getting too much hype for the Stanford game, given that Stanford is quite possibly (even likely) a worse team than, say, Texas State.

I’ve operated a football league and was the first league to have Hawkeye at every game.
In no world did I ever have a “more official” clock than the stadium clock. I can’t understand this

I’ve always been of the opinion that if a clear officiating error causes a team to win on a last play that clearly shouldn’t have happened, then that’s the one time you can reverse an outcome.
What should do if the clock hit 0:00 and the B1G refs handed the win to Michigan?

Trying something new. Instead of just tweeting "Oh no, disaster!" when Georgia Tech kicked a Field Goal to go from up 3 to up 6, I went ahead and recorded a little video explaining why this is not only the wrong choice analytically, but in football terms as well!
