New Math Discovery: "einstein" tile in four dimensions. Tessellates space but only in a nonperiodic way. Lean proof.
This weekend I found an “Einstein” tile in 4 dimensions. It’s an aperiodic monotile: a single shape that can fill 4D space, but never in a repeating pattern. As far as I know, it’s the first one in 4D proven with a machine checker (Lean) Here’s what it looks like! (check 0:24)

Ramanujan’s problem. Imagine asking your friends to find positive integer solutions to this equation. It turns out that humanity will only find Ramanujan’s original solutions (N = 3, 4, 5, 7, 15), and we'll never find any more solutions.

In 1770, Joseph-Louis Lagrange showed that every positive integer can be written as the sum of four squares. For example, we can write the number 31 as 2² + 3² + 3² + 3².
